Very interesting article here : http://www.acepilots.com/planes/p39_airacobra.html

Happened across this oldie in the hanger and dusted it off . This bird was a one time payware by SimTECH and can be found at flightsim.com
simt_p39.zip . Very good considering it came out over three years ago .

I remember when it first came out I didn't have enough computer to run it, now-WOW what a great aircraft still today.

I love that plane, always had a soft spot for the Airacobra. It's still a bit of a frame-rate hog on my system, but if I keep away form thick autogen and AI it flies pretty sweet.

I wish there were more paints for it. It came with a nice batch, but I've only found a couple of repaints.

I have it still in my hangar. Nice plane to look and fly.

An incredibly wild design. A 'mid-engine' for the fighter combat world. Kind of like a Bugatti air racer in a 'very' slight way. :d
