My first Old Warden show (been to look around a few times). Had a great time, despite a nasty shower about 5.30 ish.

Plenty more pics to come, got best part of 1300 to sort through. The problem is that for once most are actually quite reasonable, usually its an easy choice which to keep!

Was a bit windy for the edwardians but they put on a good show, with one or two not due to display filling in.

Thanks Ferry. I think this is my best set of airshow shots yet, but Old Warden is great, the stuff gets really close and is pretty much always in view.

Heres a few more.

edit: And the chippie deserves a mention for some interesting improvisation, it was too gusty to do his ribbon cutting act (between two poles on the ground) so he instead decided to throw toilet rolls out of the cockpit and cut them as he turned around! Couldn't get any decent photos of that though.

Do you know how the work is going on the Spit V, Hurricane?

Thanks Lefty.

I'm not sure what state the Spitfire is in (I think Andy Sephton mentioned it at the BAPC meeting there a few months back but I can't remember) I didn't see it so its still in the workshop. Its been a few years now though so you would have thought its getting close.
