Sometimes I choose to create a plane just because I like the shape and lines such as the Saunders Roe SR-45. On the other hand you have things like the Amiot 143 which I am doing because it is, well, just DIFFERENT!
Cheers, Paul

Thanks, Milton, I finally found enough data for the Amiot after collecting it for about 5 years. Speaking of different the copilot actually sat in the gondola underneath the pilot.
There was a database article on the "Princess" flying boat in a recent issue of Aeroplane. I had forgotten how majestic it was; I am old enough to remember when it was all the rage soon after WW2.
Best, Paul

Some sharp looking planes Paul!
You have good speed in creating these. I love the work you did on that sophisticated flying boat hull. That takes a ton of know-how, especially in FSDS, to make them that fluid and fancy.
Well done!

Paul, I just want to add my own excitement into this thread, and tell you that I too admire the work you have done on these aircraft thus far! That SR-45 sure is a monster! Will definitely have to pre-plan your take-off and landing zones. ;)

It is great that you are making French birds, especially those from the 30's. I like your Potez very much :icon29:
