In my quest to learn more about the inner workings of FSX planes, I'm working on porting the freeware AlphaSim FS2004 SEPECAT Jaguar into FSX.

I've replaced all the gauges on the panel with gauges from another freeware plane, everything works fine. I'm very pleased with the results for my first port-over.

I've got the default FA-18 HUD placed. It works, but I can't figure out what I need to do to place switches on the panel so that I can change the brightness and mode.

Is there a gaugeXX= tag for those switches, or did MS get tricky about it.

JSpal,

I don't have Acceleration loaded yet so I still don't have the F-18 available to check out. Hopefully someone with the plane can help ya out with what is needed. The switches might be part of another gauge.

I have not found any way to edit the gauges for the Hornet. I have noticed that in your gauges folder you will see a F-18 DLL file. And I don't think DLL's can be edited. If they can I too would like to learn.
