Issues with CFS 3 3.1 Update.

I have a re-released version of CFS 3, and recently I tried to download and install the 3.1 update, with the 3.1a update to follow. However, when i went to install it, it reached 34% before showing the following error message:

Old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match.

This consistently occurs despite the fact I have tried installing and uninstalling CFS 3 several times. I have not been able to find answers to this on the web, so any help would be appreciated. I am running a Compaq Presario Desktop with Windows Vista Home Basic. Thanks.

Does you re-released version already have the patch installed when you install the game off the disk?

Thanks so much, you were right. After looking through properties I found it was already the 3.1 version. My mistake :)
