Enhanced textures at AVSIM ?

Was looking at the new downloads section at AVSIM and found a new enhanced texture set the file is fps_enhancement_package1.zip . was curios if anyone has tried it ??

Havent tried but i wouldnt.
But then again i'm the one who uses 20cm per pixel scenery textures and 4096x4096 max global texture resolution lol.

Good thing I backed up my Texture folder. Looks like somthing with the trees ? OK I tried to upload a snpashot but it keeps saying that it failed. Anyway, certain trees are now blocky , not transparent like when you would try to install some of the older tree mods from FS9 and they looked like they had a black background .

sounds like they messed up the alphamap on them.

For what its worth I narrowed down the problem with the trees. Seems the veg_tropical1.dds was the culprit. Seems you are right Alexraptor. I switched out the mod one with the orig one and its fine. Cant really tell if there is a difference in fps though.
