With the cries for vehicles used by British forces of WW2 here is the work so far on the Austin K6 chassis:

Looks good, I can recon the K6 in your model!!
Which version will it be in the end?
A fire tender, a platform or a crane?

Watch out for the poly count on the wheels and wheel hubs.

Thanks for the warning Collin!
I managed to slim the poly count of the whole thing quite a bit! It's quite surprising how many you can take out and it makes little difference once they're smoothed.:d

look´s good,
there are two reference point´s for compiling with scasm to bgl.
damage model (with multilod) sca file max 84kb
main model with damage model and multilod model´s sca file max around 400 kb
when compiling sca to bgl, I´ve got sometimes an error message when the sca files are bigger.

PM inbound wolfi! Any wisdom that can be passed on to help myself and others to populate the CFS2 world further with stuff is greatly appreciated.
A second chassis has been begun, and I have now begun my first wingie thing.
All I'm saying is it's a British type that's not been built before in this form, and if successful I'll endeavour to produce the other marks as well.:d
This modelling bug is scarily addictive!

Oh Lord yes!
Then you get the big burnout and don't wanna go near the thing for years.:costumes:

Work continues slowly. Thankfully there's a lot of bits common in these vehicles

Having got to what could be said as a reasonably good point with the main models I'd like to know how many LODs are best to have?
And I can't get the hang of these texture templates:isadizzy::isadizzy:
Anyway another update on the models. Many thanks to wolfi for allowing me to play with his staff car bits it order to make mine!

I use only one lod for my vehicles, and it´s very simple, using 2 or 3 boxes that fit nearly the outer lines, I remove all poly´s that arn´t visible. Setting´s for the low-lod model normaly 100 50.
