Hi all:wavey:. I'm just over from the CFS2 forum at the invite of Collin. My area of interest is WWI aviation and all aspects of wooden wall fighting ships. I've been looking for ships of sail to use in CFS2 and found a few over at simviation for FS9. The frigate converts and sails quite well in CFS2:jump:, but I'm looking for a DP to get her guns to fire, and a way to get the bow wave to show. Any help would be appreciated.

See this thread:

Ships can be found here:

Thanks!

Hi Stoney...welcome!:wavey:

What sort of cannons were you thinking of? 12 or 24lb and how many?
It might be better if they fired cannister if its AA yer after.

The bow and stern wave referral are placed in the dp in the [extras] section.
If you have Dpedit you might be able to make it yourself by taking a similar sized vessel and altering its dp to suit your model then save it to the ships personal folder under the correct name.

Or consult a specialist dp designer, there are a few out there.

Geez.. sorry Collin.:redf: I didn't check back here as soon as I should have. I see you replied on the 5th.

I was thinking long 12 pounders, as the HMS Suprise would have carried these on the gun deck. Same as, I believe the HMS Rose was armed.

I've tried to use the dp from a PT Boat. But she headed right for the bottom on start up. I'll keep trying. Now if there was just a way I could get her to work in QC...well now that would be neat. An HMS Victory would be real cool.:icon_lol:
