I just finished uploading my latest project, the Douglas O-46 to flightsim and simviation, should be there tomorrow. It is a native FSX - Acceleration project. It has the usual stuff plus some bump maps and working cowl flaps.
Douglas developed several Observation planes for the USAAC, starting with the O-2 through the O-46. I have modeled most of them for earlier versions of MSFS. I always thought the O-46 was the best looking with it's elliptical wing and rather long fuselage, so I chose to model it for FSX. I could not find any documentation of the cockpit so I modeled it after similar craft of the same era.

Cheers, Paul

Hi, Bill, Depending where you look it came in at 4725 lbs empty and 6100 lbs full up.
