If I like a model, and it performs satisfactorily, I don't care if its a port or not. LilSki's Champ and Tri-Traveler are
two examples. If it looks great and flies great, what else matters?...:ernae:

Henry, anything specific you had to do to port the Corsair over? (Assuming this is the Donationware version)

I still have a number of ported aircraft, although as I am spending more time on my pretty-close-to-unmodified install of FSX than the one with all the add-ons installed at the moment, I'm not using them much.
The JustFlight/AH Tiger Moth is one of the ones I fly most often, along with the freeware Simshed(?) Wessex helos which I still love and the Shockwave/A2A WoP2 Mustang.

It seems to me that one of the main problems for not using ports a year or so ago was the performance loss in FSX. As we all update our hardware, this is less of a problem leaving only isues with the models themselves, which often are overcome by people far smarter than myself.

I still fly lots of ports in my FSX, the F1 Cessna golden eagle, Dreamfleet Baron, the Nemeth payware EC-120 floats, the Deane Baunton Huey, etc. I only take issue with someone claiming that an aircraft is an FSX aircraft when it's clearly not compiled with the FSX compiler.
When it comes to payware I will not spend any more money on an FS9 model

FSX gets an Emmy...OK, it's an Emeraude, and it's a port, but Jimmy cracked corn and I don't care...all it really needs is to have the prop texture replaced, which I did...:ernae:
