With the death of the forum data base I thought I'd give this another try. I'm in the process of building a 1/3 scale Nieuport 11, you can watch the progress here, http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7524690/tm.htm The N.11 I'm modeling is the one hanging in Musee de l'Air in France. The paint scheme is the same one as the default skin in OFF. While I can find plenty of photos of this plane I can't seem to find a good high quality photo of the rose. If whoever did the skin for the N.11 in OFF could provide me a copy of what they used I sure would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Scott Dean

Hi Scott,
I hadn't forgotten, but I am still away from home. I'll try and root out a good pic when I get home.

I'm sorry I didn't mean to insinuate that my request had been forgotten I just figured that with the death of the forum data base I'd repost so anyone that had the information would know who had been asking for it :) But thanks Shredward I'd really appreciate it. I hope your being out of town is pleasure not business. Pol I'm sure WM is up to his a** in alligators and I sure wouldn't want to distract him from P3. For everyone else take a peak at the above listed thread I'd love to hear any feed back you might have.

looks like its coming along beautifully Scott. Cant wait to see the finished product. Someday I want to do something like that but, as for now the closest Ive come is a 1:72 scale Fokker D.VII plastic model from Revell. Just paint and glue baby!:costumes:

Noworries - I'm getting an early taste of winter way out on the BarrenGrounds North of 60. So, yeah, it's all about pleasure :costumes: Actually, I love the Arctic, but I digress. Should be home next Saturday.

Its an incredibly detailed & beautiful looking model - more like a REAL aircraft, but just scaled down a bit :applause:
I wish i had your patience.

Thanks for the compliments. I have tried to follow prototypical practices where ever I can. As for the finished product, that will be some time off, hopefully in time for the WWI fly in next fall. Shredward, make sure to keep your mittens on :wavey:
