Who makes aircraft with models that show it in formation? I'm not talking about a utility where, I can simulate it, I'm talking about a model like the AFS Typhoon (already got it) that shows me in the air with other jets that form on me, like this screenshot. What would it take for someone to string the default blue angels jets into a diamond?

This feature is also available with the AFS F-4 Phantom. The formation is built as one model file,afaik.........much like the Red Arrows Hawk package that was available in fs9.

Here's the Hawk package.... http://www.deltaweb.co.uk/reds/flightsim.html

To do something similar, you would need the source file to the plane and the know how to model the planes in the formation, something that can't be done with the default Hornet as you are unlikely to get the source code.

I'm really hoping someone will do it for a demo team aircraft in FSX/SP2

......with working smoke on all aircraft.

Maybe the Aerosoft F-16 guys will hook us up with the thunderbird diamond.
