Should be fine for fsx. The cpu will benefit from some overclocking to ~3.5GHZ in order to maximise your simming experience. :)

I'd up the CPU, or overclock it. FSX needs all the CPU power you can give it. Good choice on the vid card, should do well. Personally, the monitor is too small, I run a 24 in widescreen and can't imagine anything smaller. I always get a full tower as it's easier to work on, more room, but that is up to you.

is it/will it be comparable to the E8400@4.0 with GTX285 if I OC the GTX260 AND the I7 920@4.0!

I just built a computer almost like that except for the HDDs and the Case and vid card

Get a nice cooler for that i7..Nocturna or a V-8 and OC that 920 to 3.6-3.8 and it will rock FSX......

The S1283 is one of the best coolers on the market. I've got it in my rig too.
