Hey All,

Anybody know what file "fixes" the error in the pic near Kalispell? I don't think that butte really exists.

Thanks! -Ed-

Hi Ed,
Are you using any extra addon mesh.If not then it is not one of the areas I have seen with this sort of problem.
Using addon mesh would probably fix this problem.World Landscapes by First Class Simulations is reletively cheap and looks really nice.It is the mesh I use.But there are plenty of mesh sets available for FS9.

Ok I stand corrected.Mesh does not fix this problem. The reason is that there is an airfield on top of this Butt.Take a close look at the picture and you can see the center line of the grass strip. Not sure which airfield it is as there are several round the local area.

Hey All,

You got it too! I'll have to fly over it again and see if I've got an airport up there. There must be a fix somewhere - cause it ain't right the way it is.

Yep, Mower Field (MT84) sits up there.

There is a bit of a fix at flightsim.com

If you have AFCAD, there might be a way to look at the elevations in the AFCAD and make corrections to bring it back down to the proper level. Possibly an exclude file that went awry or something along that line?
