Not sure if any remember or knew him, but Dancer_213 (Dave Dancer), passed away March 17th. He was a great guy, always flew honorably. Had some great games with the 213th back in the old zone. Gelace and Ranger are setting up a memorial flight to be held in IL2. If any are interested leave a note..

I don't usually fly IL2 either, but the squad he was in, the 213 Hornets, was best known in the zone, flying CFS1. I am a CFS1 & 2 diehard myself, but I may load IL2 on just for this. Gelace is desperately wanting to get in touch with as many members of the old squad as possible, and one in particular, he went by the nick of kilr. Anyone remember him?

if I am not mistaken, the Ace Carrier Pilots are phasing out.
some of the guys that fly with the 45th also fly with the AAC on Sundays.
here is the AAC TeamSpeak Server IP;

*********

I will remove it later today.
we fly Sundays, starting at 15:00 GMT.

no problem...we meet every Sunday.
we have been doing an ongoing mission for the past couple weeks.
last week, Allied interceptors tackled waves of V-1s heading for London.
toady, the waves were still coming, but the interceptors had to fly Recon and find the launch sites, photograph them and make it home through the 190s and show the photos to verify.
next week the Allies must find the rest of the launch sites and destroy all of them.
I believe that all of the pilots had a good time today, but we sure could use some more Axis pilots.
3 v 6 are pretty steep odds.

Then, he would be a candidate for the CFS1 memorial. Look for infos needed in the sticky up here.

His plate will ornate the memorial as soon as I make a release, probably in mid-summer.

For a long time I've played CFS1 alone in my corner (never went to the Zone... until it was too late:173go1:). Your eulogy make me wish I had get there sooner to meet Dancer. Thank you for remembering a friend.:wavey:
