BE (formerly World War 2 Online) has a 14 day free trail promo.
Credit card required but should be no billing so long as you cancel with in the 14 day period. (maybe a $1.00 charge to verify the card?)
You can D/L BE at any time for free to look it over but only offline is available without a subscription.
In offline mode all vehicles are available as are all spawn points but no AI.....It's still a good chance to look over the toys and learn the controls.
I'm running a E2160 cpu (OCed to 2.3ghz), 2 gigs ram, 9600gt vid card and the game runs well on it so that should give a rough estimate of computer requirements.
