It was a lot of fun and a lot of work but certainly an SOH team effort in every respect. I captured some of the early in-progress efforts and created a website here:

http://www.flightsimonline.com/xterra/index.htm

After completion of that project, RealOldSalt created a variant, and Bomber_12th proceeded to deliver several variants of his own to include the K model.

This was an exciting time here at SOH and we truly benefitted from all the involvement and contributions made by so many.

Of course, all the A-26B/C/K variants and repaints can be found right here in the SOH library.

Well,

I just don't want everyone to forget about the good old invader. I was wondering if anyone has thoughts of doing any updates or paints. Lets not forget about the old bird.

Agreed A26!
I have tried my hand at repainting in FS but I just can't seem to get the hang of it.
I have far from forgotten the Invaders.I still am logging in many hours in all the great SOH variants with the LAS and K seeing the most of my flight time.
As always thank you soooooo much for all the talents here that put the awesome bird together!

We (Warchild, Cag40Navy & I) were talking the other night on teamspeak about the A-26B/C/K variants that were done. Milton and team, a BIG Thank You for making this model available to us all to enjoy. I am currently revisiting all of them!

One question. How do I steer it/them? I have a Saitek x52pro (single throttle) and have no control by engine rpms. Is there an adjustment I can change that might help?

My dilemma of the nosewheel steering has been resolved. It really pays off to read more into the topic. DOH!!

Thanks Milton and Fliger :ernae:

Happy that you have that sorted out Oleboy. :)

Unless you spend a lot of time flying fighters, why not consider investing in a Yoke and Pedals with Toe Brakes? Cost will be about $100 each but makes a world of difference in your flight experiences.

Absolutely! I fly with TrackIR, CH Products throttle quadrant, Fighter Stick, and Pro Pedals. Having pedals for rudder control and toe brakes makes a world of difference.
