BTW for the hosts:
The time limit to go back and edit a post is 400 minutes.

Hey

If you are talking about a SOH handle then log out of your own one and then choose register and create a new handle for him to use. You can then log in and out as you need to.

If you are talking about in CFS3, go to options\multiplayer and change his name there. When he spawns it will show the new name. Just change back and forth as necessary.

Ok I found it in multiplayer options as you said under "call sign for LAN games" Also....Which pilot name is the best one to use for multiplayer games ie "Geoffry Walker" etc which one has better health, g force, eyesight etc?thanx :help:

In CFS3 you can set up the 'abilities' of a pilot and then give him a name .So set up a pilot , pick him in the online list., Use most of the ability' points on g force and a little on eye sight if you like . You really don't need health , it's good to have in missions [set a different pilot up] in case your pilot is wounded he may last longer and not bleed to death. I think my online pilot is set to 1 or 2 , I never last long enough in these dogfights to worry about bleeding to death . The down side is if my pilot gets a sliver in his finger he dies! A high number set to g force allows you to not blackout in these 100% games , this lets you see and stay on the tail feathers of that no good for nothing rotten scoundrelous vulching MAXIMUS .

There are a few things that can give you that error -
-if your running Vista and you try to join a online game with out 'Deadmeat's ' fix for online play.
-if your CFS3 doesn't have M$ updates 3.1 and 3.1a and you try to join a game that have these patches.
-if the host of an online game that has extra [downloaded] aircraft checked 'on' when they host a game and you don't have these aircraft too.
-I'm not sure about your last question though, Grizz do you want to take a try at it ?

Brilliant is all I can say. It worked very well. My thanks to Fre and Grizzly for finding their Way in to game and commiserations to Jyf who could not.

The sight of a Dakota and Gladiator in loose formation is certainly something, we all ended up in River Mersey, YUK !!. Fre got in the fist gladiator bullets and shot me down--LOL. Then I took him on a tour of Hooton Park both of us Taxying around in Gladiators and even into Hanger 2 as the doors were open.--LOL.
