I'm going to be fixing a friends laptop in a few days. I'm going to boot into safe mode to work on it but there's a major problem I need to work around first: I need to be able to hear sound, and Safe Mode doesn't ever load the sound drivers. Is there any way I can force these drivers to be loaded?
