Apologies if this story has been posted before-

SEATTLE - A British pilot has been fired after doing a fly-by with a new Boeing 777-330ER at Paine Field in Everett last month.

British newspapers report that Captain Ian Wilkinson, 55, flew the Cathay Pacific jet at 300 mph just 28 feet above the ground without landing gear in a ceremonial fly-by on a delivery flight.

I wonder if Tex Johnson could get away with rolling the prototype 707 in this day and age.

At least Tex had some altitude, lol... That thing was just a few feet off the ground. One mild down draft and that thing would have been belly landing at good speed.. or at least a touch and go...

I wonder how many regulations and airline rules he broke doing that?

Anyone that does that bike thing and doesn't pull the front end up deserves a crash like that.
