Some call it bleak and barron, some say theres just nothing there, some say its haunted, and some even say it buys the first round of drinks at the pub .... whatever people say i love the place.

Not sure if this will show, but the middle lump is scarborough castle, which is where one of the closest hospitals is ... so if you break a leg its a long walk!

Nice shots! Looks like a nice place for good long walk. And hey, no snow, just the way I like it. :)

Nice pictures, I would definitely like to visit the moors, looks a lot like where I live in the Texas Panhandle.

Was on Ilkley Moor myself last week.

It is of course the Yorkshire Dales area and not the North Yorkshire Moors..

The moors and Dales are both great places, although I know the moors much better, haven't been to the dales as often.
Having been down here in Herts for 3 years at uni, as lovely as it is round here, I always really look forward to getting home to Tickhill (and a pin tin the local!:guinness:). (Back permenantly in june)
