Haven't flown this in a while, and when I did today, I noticed some texture problems with the guns and wings. The guns on the turret are affected as well.

I'm getting the same thing on the six-gun nose variants.

I just did a complete reinstall of the package, including the model updates to get rid of the fuselage transparency issues and the updated prop disk.

Still have the same texture issues with the nose guns, wings, and turrets.

Looks like a missing texture to me, make sure you have a texture named "guns" in the texture.shared folder.

There is no shared texture folder, but each individual texture folder does have the guns.bmp texture.

Hmmmm... my FSX installation has a shared texture folder for all the textures that are common to all the A-26 aircraft. Did you install the FS9 version into FSX?

I didn't know there was an FSX version.

Yep, sort of, it wasn't a true FSX aircraft, but had been converted to function (manual startup is not perfect and there are still some texture issues, but it flies well) in FSX SP2.

Where is the FSX version located?

I didn't see it in the FSX addon section.

Hmmm... I can't seem to find it either. Maybe someone else knows where it went? It's a 19.5 MB zip, so I can't just e-mail it.

Well...I'd be happy to just figure out these texture issues.

Everything else seems to be working perfectly.

The original guns.bmp was 32-bit but lacked an alpha according to imagetool.

Try adding a black alpha channel to see if that helps.

Otherwise, you can try converting it to 8 or 16-bit DXT1 with no alpha.

I added the alpha, and that took care of the problem.

Thanks!! :)
