Hey maybe you guys know. I can't get my oil temp out of the red. What are you setting your RPM, Throttle and Mixture at? Was going to fly San Diego to San Francisco but I quit at LA because I thought I was overheating. Maybe I don't get the gauge.

It's a bit sensitive on the brakes though, as I was about to tell Kevib1 in last night's MP session.

But he discovered that by himself just a few moments earlier.... :p

That happened just after you reminded us to download this wonderful aircraft, Mississippi. Thanks !

That's a great snap, Ferror. When I landed at KLAX, I just killed the engine and let it roll . . . . . . . .

My flying prowess up for all to see! lol

I was gonna let it roll but then saw Ferror all large in front of me. Stamping on the brakes was kinda the natural reaction. Just never get in a car with me, When the doctor will let me drive again that is.

Great shot by the way.

This landing is more my style : :redf:

(Love the instructor saying : Don't pull so hard, you'll break the wings. Ouch, that hurts. In his calm voice.) :D

Anyway, to get back on topic :

Here's three more pictures from last nights flight.
I already posted two at the old forums, but I'll post them here as well.

I usually get more fire. I rarely take pictures though. Don't want any evidence around:D .

You can change brake strength in the .cfg file, and gauge settings like oil temp, oil pressure, etc, and be edited in the airfile. I think you can set them to anything you want. Refs on the Monomail were few and far between.

On seeing those MP shots, what's the best way to go about linking up? I have tried from within FS2004, but never got anywhere.

We use the netwings server for all our flights, Tim.

Just go to multiplayer, and enter netwings.org or the IP adress (65.118.243.230) and click the search button. It should find the server in a few moments, then click join.

It never worked for me because I was on a network, sharing an internet connection, but now I have my own connection and it runs great !

Zonealarm is at max. security settings BTW.

Ferror, I'm on a home LAN and Mrs Willy's is the comp with the direction. I don't have any problems hooking up. Doing better like this than I was before with a direct connection. At least since the old CFS 1 days.

Tim, great job on a great aircraft!:icon29: Took her up for a quick spin and landed on a local road. Fit real good between the light & telephone poles :D
