Looks like Kilauea on the big island of Hawaii, right?

I think I took off from HI25 and flew to a heading of 360(north) or between 010 or 020 degrees

Open the map and set it to 35 nm and you will see the brown spot there in the distance..i think thats where it is...It across the Island from where I took off....

If you fly out of HI25 and go directly to HI23 you will pass right by it within about 20-25 NM......

Hehehe, must be quite a shock even in FS when you see an unexpected eruption going up next to you.
BTW, that 190 should bring you home if you throttle back immediatly after you experience first signs of overboost damage. :engel016:
Just make sure to not go above 1.1 - 1.15 ata pressure

Admit it, Harleyman, you've been attending the Panther School of Flying!
Now we know what Panther has been doing this last month! :icon_lol:

Well I just got back from Hawaii, didnt see even the faintest wiff of smoke.
I guess it only erupts at certain times, harlyman what was the date and time set to for your flight ?

Going to have to take something with a bit more power for my next flight there, my poor little Cessna 172N really had a struggle getting up that high.
I had to circle round about half dozen times to gain altitude and even then I only just made it becase I caught a couple of thermals on the way up LOL

Hmmm It was afternoon is all I know...When you leave HI25 heading straight for HI 23 its about 18-25 miles out about 2/3 of the way to HI23...

You almost fly right over it...There is a big crator in the mountain there..

If you enter those cordinates into the sim you can go right to it....

I found the volcano alright, even flew over the crater (barely :D )
The date and take off time should be in your log book.
