Is someone familiar with this program? someone said to me it's very good to create the alpha channels.

My curiousity will kill me, one day......:isadizzy:

Image tool can convert your .bmps to 8 bit files (256 colors) without losing the Alpha channel. The program can create an Alpha channel but it's results suck. You're much better off creating the alpha with PSP or Photoshop, saving as a .psd, then use ImageTool to save to 8 bit.

MMM..........I think I'll go on with Photoshop and Dxtbmp. Dxt is great even if I had some issues with the latest version, and reinstalled the previous one. Now everything is Ok!

Thanks for your answers Kimber and ROS! my doubts come up after I tried to do a repaint for the Ju52. I have some awful effects on the wings, and I quitted this project...may be something in the mdl that I am not able to solve.

Nice "moire' " pattern there.:icon_lol: I've run into the same problem when I try to get the details too fine on a moving gauge. Say, compass division lines only a pixel or 2 apart. Try making your corregation lines a bit less detailed.

Yes. all that makes sense! Thanks you again!

But to be honest, I'm toooo lazy to work on those wings...moving to the Maam C47, no corrugated fuselage on her...and more power in the engines.

Cheers!
