It's a little better. It's still not the stellar performance you'd get from a dedicated tower rig, but I can live with it!

I ended up going completely OTT in my newest build with 128G........'Wretched Excess' but the performance spike is impressive.

My laptop won't handle more than 32 GB. I may decide to start saving for a dedicated rig, but that's way down the road.
