Well I just don’t believe it! They put out benchmarks charts for us lowlife flightsim people! I’m glad to see that I’m right in the middle with my GTX 1080 regular video card... when I get my new PC build completed.

Once the frantic rush is over (I can always wait a few days or months!) and I've convinced myself that the scenery is worth the aggro (ORBX are already producing additions!) I might give this a run.
Very pleased to see my video specs are at the high end of the comparison.
:encouragement:

I wish there was a thread somewhere devoted to 'flying MSFS2020 using cached scenery' and the practicality of using cached scenery vs streaming everything in real time ?

We can all build gaming 'rocketships' these days, ....... but if we're at the mercy of limited bandwidth, then we essentially cannot mimick the scenery quality MS has demonstrated.

I agree.

But, the game has only been out a couple of days. And it will take a while for folk who have limited bandwidth to install the game. I have already seen a couple of articles touting the performance increase that can be had playing the game cached. I'm sure more info will be forthcoming over time.

By which point, due to the massive demand in streaming and everyone now wanting to learn to fly because of and using MSFS, your area will get better bandwidth and you'll no longer have to worry :)
