It's too bad he doesn't show what it's like with crashes off, as then it allows you to see the physics at play when you do start cartwheeling, or flip the plane over when you're too hard on the brakes. :)

A little disappointing, just the same old "you crashed" screen. Wonder what these looked like externally for something like a gear up landing where you probably won't totally destroy the aircraft. In FSX worth the RTW race the "you overspeeded and overstressed" from weather boundaries was very frustrating.

Boo....that's more than disappointing. They should have implemented a damage model. Where does one go that the developers are likely to read constructive feedback?

My guess is, you'll have to wait until the forums are open to the general public. Unless you're in the beta, then they probably have a forum for reporting issues/wants.

Here is video of a belly landing in the Bonanza with crash damage on. When it shows the nose-over in the XCub, if damage is turned off, it will continue to show the aircraft tipping over on its nose, or its back (if the velocity is there) - the physics all play out, just like in reality, and you're left with the aircraft however it ends up.
