i feel that not enough attention has been given to the b29 in cfs2,so below are some images of Guam north field WIP home of The 20'th airforce B29 bases in the marianas.Saipan Tinian airfields as well as Iwo jima emergency and fighter escort strip are under construction. These bases are huge with 8500ft runways which i have reduced to 5800 for practical purposes.the gsl is so spread out that i have reduced that as well.these will come with refuel and ndb.i am using both gnoopeys and capt mercy's b29 for testing.Fly out in your b29's p26 p51D's for a spin at high altitude or defend your b29's on their way to japan with jagdfliegers B29 campaigns, just modify the missions take off and landing.

CAPT Mercy

Your 2d cockpit allows full vision which is great but there is no flaps clickable buttons!! or are there and i cant find it?this is an important feature in take off and specially approaching the runway. These beasts have to be handled very smouthly as you come down from a great distance so this would be handy while concentrating on flying.

Actually had to reinstall and take a look at that one unless your missing your flap gauge that's all ya get having flown over 25,000 hrs in mostly Airline Transport Category aircraft including some from that era early in my career (Corrosion Corner Miami International) the one thing that grinds my gears is to see a modern day blue and white Cessna 172 flap switch in the middle of a B29 panel. As a fledgling co star (pilot) it was my job to pull and sometimes pump the large hydraulic throw flap lever tune the radios and laugh at the captains stupid jokes. Microsoft makes it easy for you all you have to do is hit the F key for FLAPS and the V key to RETRACT or use your assignable joy stick keys. Please don't miss out pulling up the IFR panel on this bird and flying approaches down to minimums that's what being a pro transport (or all weather bomber pilot) civilian or military is all about. The F3 key will dump the panel to a clear forward view just before you land.:amen:

Hi Dog1,

The DC3 USN skin on http://www.dog1-cfs2world.com/
seems to me very detailed with a nice crew too; see the screenshots.
