I'm trying to repaint the wings of power B-17 and I can't get the plane to look shiny. I've tried playing with the alpha channel in photoshop but it doesn't do anything. I know this plane has shiny effects on other paintjobs, but why not mine? Is it something that photohop is doing to the file that FS doesn't like or something? Becuase the alpha channel looks exactly like it does for a different paintjob, that is shiny, but mine isn't. ANY help is appreciated. Thanks

OK, Photoshop is somehow the problem. Just by simply opening an exsisting paintjob, and resaving it, the shiny effect goes away. What's photoshop doing that FS doesn't like? What am I doing wrong?

Hi OI812
Paintshop might not be keeping your alpha channel if you're resaving - not sure, but you might find Martin Wrights DXTBmp a better tool to use.
