:typing: Captured by the British forces in late 1945, this German airplane was taken back to England, repainted in British wartime camouflage and test-flown against the Gloster Meteor and Spitfires to test its flight capabilites and maneuveravility against Allied fighters in air combat. To make a long story short, This Luftwafe jet aircraft was nick-named the "Flying Bacon" by its test pilots :D It wasn´t the best the Luftwaffe had to offer at the time.
