The last thread got a bit jumbled and I've been asked what goes with what in the package. Here's a video of what is coming.

I really like how you can change the options to so many variations, depending on what you want to fly. That is a really cool feature. :very_drunk:

Have to leave some work for the repainting artists. I'm sure one will be developed.

If you haven't already, check flightsim.com and Avsim. Beyond that I'm not sure. I was going to do that airport while Paul was building the initial Stearman release last year, but I couldn't find any information on it other than a few write-ups about it. I even e-mailed the current airport manager hoping he had some period photos of the field and the hangars but he had nothing that would help and didn't know where to even look for anything.

Would be very surprised if this was not a best seller for GAS.
Well deserved.

the show birds would not likely be allowed to get too rough looking however - so these are very clean..

I'm sure the painters among the community will make some creative skins for these - perhaps a few of them will apply some streaks and dings here and there.

gotta love the versatility one is able to access through the GUI provided by GAS...

(Maybe if you ask him, Paul could add a 'Grime' switch to it..? lol)

Just wait to see what the talented SOH artist community does - I don't think you'll be waiting long.

For my part, these showstoppers look outstanding in their crisp, clean clothes

I do like the dusters better than the show planes.

No problems if we have whole package installed and Duster SOH demo?
Could You check it?

Checking out each version, I tried to fly it from its home field like The Flying Circus etc. Well, Google Medlock to see where they were from, its California but Google has interesting history on Medlock which is no longer around as far as I can tell. The owner/manager passed away. His obituary is online as well. Just an FYI.

I have information coming for a Cropduster repaint that I will be attempting as soon as the final package is released and the paintkit for the Cropduster is completed. I talked with the owner a real pilot on the phone while he was in the air on a job...how cool is that.

I have them both installed, YoYo - the BETA Duster has a slightly different Sim object file name. So to be safe I just took it out of the FSX folder and put it on the desktop when I installed the SS&D pack for testing.
That's when I saw the different file names (one is GAS_Stearman_75AG and the other is GAS_Stearman_A75_AG)

I wanted to keep the BETA because it has instruments in the panel rather than on the upper wing, which I personally prefer. The paints will work on both with zero defects.
For some reason I just can't get used to a blank panel even though that IS how many owners would set them up for Ag work.

I'm not certain that this is how GAS will do it for the pack upon RELEASE but I suppose you could rename the folder yourself - provided you remember to set it aside before installing the full pack..?

Has this been released guys?? What's going on??

When I did beta testing the conversation was off line so as to not get old folks like me excited. Gotta take care of the heart, ya' know. :loyal:

No compatibility problems. I have both on my system. The folder names for the Ag Demo and the Ag final are different.
