Hi all,

just came across the WILCO allegation their Harrier GR3 is v4 capable finally:

https://www.wilcopub.com/harrier-jump-jet-5937.html

Can anybody confirm this? Is this now a true 64bit model? Does it works without endless tweaks and temporary solutions? Can't find anything in their explenations. When did they upgrade this aircraft? Or did they just add "P3Dv4" in the headline.

If you look up the Harrier in the Wilco compatibility table for P3DV4+you will see "Yes but no radar, HUD, VTOL"

No HUD? No VTOL?

Not much of a "Harrier", is it?

Just saying...

You're both right - a little poor to my opinion, just adding a "P3Dv4" to the title but no innovations - that's a bit of user's deception. I for one own the WILCO GR3, tweaked by all great possible solutions of famous guys in this forum. As much more I have to thank all involved for making this aircraft still flyable with fun in v4. But shame on you, WILCO....That way, you will loose customers and reputation for sure...

Hello,

i try it, but no HUD and no VTOL, just the installer PD3V4 capability.

If you want VTOL you can use the gauge from the V22 osprey :

- Copy the module AVM32.dll (or AVM64.dll for P3Dv4.*) in your main \Gauges\ folder, or in the aircraft \Panel\ folder.

- In the panel.cfg of the aircraft, replace the line
gauge**=*********!xml2ipc, 0,0

by

gauge**=AVM32!Maryadi_lv2av, 0,0
or
gauge**=AVM64!Maryadi_lv2av, 0,0 //For P3Dv4.*

I try to have a HUD for this Harrier, do you know a solution ?

thx
