DRS did not close and punted him off, huge accident

The exact same thing happened to him at Silverstone. Maybe Sauber should start looking more closely at their DRS mechanism...

Maybe DRS should be permanently 'disabled'.
:banghead:
The hard left turn was a bit of a worry just the same.

Basically the same effect as pulling your handbrake at 320+ kmh...

Sauber is not the only team having problems with the DRS. Raikkonen faced rpoblem with this system as well.

DRS and power boosts like the former A1GP are invented to increase the number over overtakes. But obviously it doesn't help to close the gap between the top teams and the rest of the pack. In my opinion racing is just going as fast as you can and I'm not convinced whether these technical additions really make the sport more attractive. (I know this is a bit naive....)

But that's just my personal feeling,

So back to the 'Trulli trains' then....?

Just an aside but some of the A1GP rounds served up some excellent racing, I was staggered (and mean 'staggered') when one of the Chinese drivers went round the outside of four cars at turn one (in the wet!) during the Eastern Creek round.
Nobody does that, not even the top guns in the Supercar Series or the Formula Ford desperadoes and gets away unscathed.
Another round run at Assen was really entertaining, as was the South African street circuit event through Durban.
:devilish:

I can't stand any of them Huub!
And Indycar has the ridiculous "push to pass" increase hp option...

Arggh!!!!

Isn't it a bit ironic. Cars are supplied with tools which should make it easier to overtake, however the complex aerodynamics make it very tricky to approach the car you want to overtake....

Cheers,
Huub

And he's on pole with the fastest lap of Monza!
Ever!
If Ferrari use 'Team Orders' on race day I expect the tifosi too riot....................................:redfire:
