View Full Version : Looking for TACAN channels

HI,I am just wondering if anybody knows the TACAN channels for the HMS Queen Elizabeth carrier,and the USS Gerald Ford carrier? so,I can set them up for the RFN gauge.

You can assign your own, I think, as long at it doesn't duplicate an existing one.

Open up the RFN Resources folder in your Gauges and then open up RFN Carrier.xml in Notepad. Make a backup of the RFN Carrier.xml in case you have a problem editing it. Then you can either read it or better print it out. You can then see each carrier that RFN has programmed with the appropriate TACAN freq. I substituted carriers I wanted for ones I did not need like Japanese WWII carriers etc. If you use Notepad and not Notepad++ be sure to save it as .xml not text or it won't work.:listening_headphone
