To my three amigos,

Getting the scenery set up. I have everything nice and stable up to the specific scenery for Meridian.

I have folders and files named...

Palembang_rivers_G2K

PalembangSouth_WC.bgl
PalembangEast_WC.bgl
Palembang_rivers_WM_8_fixed.bgl
Palembang_rivers_WM_3.bgl
Palembang_river_WC.bgl
Palembang_area_rivers_3.bgl
Palebang_riverWC_SE.bgl

And inside, a folder named "archived" with the following files (WC_075_32.bgl, WC_075_33.bgl, and WC_075_032.bgl)

Palembang_scenery

Palembang.bgl
Palembang_A16N.bgl

Sabang

aceh_flatten_A16N.bgl
NSumatra_coast1.bgl
sabang_3.bgl
Sabang_8_Fixed.bgl
sabang_lake_lge_A16N.bgl
sabang_sth_WC.bgl
Sabang_WC.bgl

Sumatra

muntokG2K_3.bgl
muntokG2K_8.bgl
muntokG2K_9.bgl
NSumatra_Coast1.bgl
Sumatra_rail_8.bgl
Sumatra_road_8.bgl
Sumatra_road_9.bgl

Sumatra_56

sumatra_56_11_3.bgl
Sumatra_56_11_8_Fixed.bgl
sumatra_56_12_3.bgl

Then, there is also...lhoknga_OG_fix_3.bgl, and Muntok_OG_fix_3.bgl

I haven't looked at these folders for a while, so I can't remember what's current and what's outdated. Care to throw this dog a bone and refresh my memory on the folder order, what to keep, and what to toss? :dizzy:

Thanks in advance,

Rams,
Here is what I currently have and it looks great:
I have removed some of the EAWII where it conflicts with the newer scenery developed by Onagras, John, and Kevin. (Removed; xbp_asia_sumatra_v2_palembang1 & A16N & AFD).

Hi Andrew,

Skylane's recent Air War over Malaya and the East Indies campaign has all the current Sumatra bgl files. They can all go in the same folder. Xavier's Palembang 1 and Pladjoe are the only scenery files which conflict with the new scenery and need to be deleted. If you wish, you can delete the other Sumatra scenery files which Skylane lists, such as Palembang 2, Lhonga and Medan. However, these files do not conflict with the new scenery. I left them in my install in case there were any missions by other authors using those airfields. Skylane's Sumatra GSL file does not include the objects for the five airfields listed above.

The scenery is designed for Rhumba's older water files and coastal flattens. I notice Lee has those layers as well as the water masks active. I've never tried that combination. I'll have to do some experimenting.

Good afternoon,

Point of clarification...are there any of the three campaign sets (Meridian, Iceberg, TF37) that use Rhumbaflappy's new coastlines, or not? :dizzy:

Andrew

Not in any of my installs, they are too aggressive. Meridian has CFS2 Africa_SAsia Water active.

Andrew,

There is no mention of having to use Rhumba's newer water masks in MR's readme for his Sakishima-Gunto scenery. It states the scenery is built to fit Rhumba's mesh.

As far as I know, Okinawa is still stock standard. Are there any other localities used in Iceberg and TF37?

Hi UngleTgt

Whose Aichi B7A Grace model is this? I haven't seen it before. :dizzy:

Looks like Yashico's model.

CK, Roxane 21 is correct. It's just a redraw of Yashico's B7A2A Grace. See screenshot thread for first attempt at a Tech Arsenal development bird. Seems there are some funky material/shading issues with this model, I'll take a look in MDLmat & see if anything looks odd...
