View Full Version : headtracker.. too much shaking to click in VC

HI,

not just related to FSX but flightsim in general, and (warning!) might be a stupid question...

I use a headtracker (ED tracker) but when I have to click in the VC (like co-ordinates on a keyboard), my view does not stay stabilized enough to click where I should be clicking..
(either shakes or "wanders away") (Of course it gets worse when I have to zoom in on the VC keyboard, which is well, essential to read the text on the knobs..)

I tried implementing deadzones in FSUIPC, but then the smoothes while looking outside is gone and is too stuttery...

I wonder how you al deal with this?

cheers, Racal

I don't know if headtracker has this option, but with TrackIR I can tap the F9 key and it stops the movement until I tap F12 and then it goes back to full motion. Does headtracker have anything like that? I use for similar situations sometimes when I need to see something closeup.

Hi,

thanks for your suggestion.
Unfortunately, the ED tracker (wired version) has no such option, I asked developers to put on the whishlist
