Mary Ellis who flew for the Air Transport Auxiliary has passed away. To call her a Spitfire pilot is understating things a little, she probably flew just about every aircraft used by the RAF during WWII. Mary was 100 years old.

A sad loss, but she lived a long and good life. RIP Mary.
