Milviz has done once again an excellent job! I'm particularly impressed with their turboprop simulation. Next to the Majestic DHC-8 Q400 this is definitely the best simulation of a turboprop equipped aircraft.

This is a rare case for me where I wish there was a demo. I totally love the Milviz Otter. That is for the few flights I can complete without having an OOM crash. The MV Otter is the ONLY plane in my entire "too" well stocked virtual hangar that causes this and crashes my sim. I so much want to get into the T version. But I guess I will need to watch from the sidelines. :uncomfortableness:

I guess one can't win them all...

You're not alone, I'm having OOM's and CTD's with the turbine Otter. Both issues have been reported many times on their forum.

Did you post the crash report on the support forums? If you did I might have missed it.

I believe we have traced down the cause of the CTDs already and there is a fix in the forums. OOMs is another matter though...Might want to report those yourself as I don't recall seeing any OOM reports.

I gather the issue is probably at my end, with an older system. That's why I didn't reach out on the support forum. With no upgrade in the near future, I will just pass on this one, and look at the screenshots and reports from others.

But thanks for reaching out!

The hotfix worked great, solved all my issues. The turboprop modeling on this bird is outstanding! Well done!

I must be blind. I have looked all over the support forum for that fix, and have not had any luck so far.

Update: Never mind. I finally found the fix. Was looking for a DHC-3T specific fix, so was looking for the wrong thing.

SP1 released.

Well...... I just bought it 2 hours ago, and all I get is CTD's with FSX. Not sure if it is SP1 or not. Maybe not. Guess it's a support ticket. Non-turbo Otter is just fine.

SP1 version is on MV Support Forum only (perhaps will be ready to download from the store soon).
For FSX it was hotfix also before (on Forum, not included in store's version). This model uses external simulation of engine turbine, something like Accu Sim. Check Support Forum. :wavey:

Got her up, but only by loading the radial Otter first, then switching to the turbo. Odd. Maybe SP1 will fix.
