Hi all!

Have recently installed V4 in windows 10 new computer with FSUIPC5.

I can not get my TrackIR 3 to work in V4. It works in FSX on same computer.

What I have tried (instructions on several fora) are:

1. Installed 64 bit drivers for TIR 3

2. Ran simconnect msi for FSX Accel found in V4 folder (exact name can't remember)

3. Have tried latest TIR program from natural Point but does not work because it only recognizes the hat clips. Check Harris Scarfe Catalogue (https://www.ladysavings.com/publix-weekly-ad/?harris-scarfe/) and Myer Catalogue (https://www.ladysavings.com/publix-weekly-ad/?myer/). I use the old reflector squares because of the Headgear I use.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I really want to use the Track IR because for me it adds considerably to my immersion.

Thanks,

Joe

I also have a TIR3 and it is working fine in v4. I think it has to do with the legacy simconnect. Try to run all of them, not just the FSX Accel version. Also in your TIR software, request a game update to be done.

If nothing works then it could be the TIR software. I actually use the latest one as I have a hat clip.

Thanks Dimus. I will give all a try.

If I remember correctly, you need to run both the TIR software and P3d with the same level of privileges, i.e. both as admin, or both not.

That is indeed another good point Dave and could be the culprit.:encouragement:

Run the SIMCONNECT installer found here: P3D folder/redist/interface/fsx-sp2-xpack/retail/lib

Thanks guys

I have tried all those suggestions and still no go. I think I will regroup, rethink, and retry.
