Well, beyond our own 'Warbirds Library' here, there's not much freeware you can't source from one or other of these:

Two of the best freewares (well, one donationware), Tiger Moth and T-28A.

Four if you like floats and get the demos.

If you want some Russian addons which you probably won't find on western sites this one: http://www.avsimrus.com is for you.

Though the site is English mirror of Russian Avsim.su there are still plenty of Russian text with cyrillic letters to translate.

personally i would avoid rickoo, they normally take pre existing free ware without permissions and create installers and often mess things up in registries and cfgs

+1 for the russian avsim its a good source of eastern block aircraft http://www.avsimrus.com/files.phtml1 (http://www.avsimrus.com/files.phtml)

the top right hand corner toggles english text, theres not a huge selection but its the aircraft and paints you dont see on the major english speaking sites

Super list. Found a few that 404’ed and a few that don’t lead to the listed site. When I have time I’ll go through more and let you know.

thanks for the list.

thanks again,gents.......I had been out of the Sims for a few years and forgot a lot of sites...you guys have reminded me of some...I'm having a blast with FSX...actually screwed up my install with steam once but was
able to reinstall fairly easily...altho it took awhile to re-download it...I got spoiled over the years and always had cable internet...no2 I'm on strictly wifi but I'm doing the best I can with it..I really like Steam....thanks for turning me onto it
