Glad to see they have float/amphibian versions in the package. I remember not that long ago taking a ride on a float DHC-3T out of Juneau over the glaciers there.

Will defiantly be grabbing this one, next time Milviz has a sale.

Wow, when it rains........ D18, Vega, P-47, Bulldog, now this. What's next?

That's easy dvj :

first Avro Tutor

then Boeing-Stearman

then Avro Lancaster

then Handley Page Halifax

then Lockheed T-33

then Lockheed F-104

then i'll get my umbrella

:biggrin-new:

I'll skip the Turbo Otter. I'm not sitting in that high pitched whine instead of the soothing murmur of a R-1340. Besides i've waited 10 years for a good recip Otter. Now i've got 2.

Now I know I wish it would rain down, down on me
Oh you know I wish it would rain, rain down on me now
Ooh yes I wish it would rain, down on me
Yes you know I wish it would rain, rain down on me
Just rain down on me

Yeah, so you don't have their radial Otter then ? Exactly the same (apart from the turbo instruments and levers). Most wonderful indeed !

no - I can't keep up with the dollars man...Too many other obligations at the moment. They're all just eye candy behind the glass - where they will stay until or unless there is a massive fire sale

Well, i certainly ain't buying any FS aircraft just because it's released anymore neither (used to be my ground rule, you should see my hangars ;-) but the Otter is pretty special to me. My fav aeroplane in all FS versions before FS9. And that's how long i've been waiting for a good one (radial engine version) to appear in FS9, later FSX and P3D. So much so that last year, when still no glimpse of any Otter on the horizon, i started my own Otter project. You can imagine my ambivalent feelings when, just a few months later, i was just about finished with the external model, first AH released their Otter and shortly after that here comes Milviz with another one ! ( they must've had their radar pointed at my Max Studio.. ) To stick with the subject "when it rains it pours" both models got good wipers though.

Btw, here's a fine clip from Michael Palin's Pole to Pole adventure featuring a ride in a Turbo Otter ( he gets more and more discouraged while talking to the pilot ;-) : https://youtu.be/Zv-gyB-SG3M?t=1m53s

I can't blame him. A bit like the Grace. L. Ferguson Airline.

is there something wrong with the panel? Too much "patina" for you?
