...quietly.

The first is our ACLS which is very short for "Autoland". Our carrier tech has reached the point where we can now support such a system and it will be part of a big systems upgrade package for the Phantom. The ACLS has been modeled verbatim to the real thing so now we're completing the implementation by adding the relevant cockpit equipment. You can see a short teaser video here, showing the ACLS final approach in good weather: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-LCMS3iJQQ

We are working feverishly on our CVN-68 Nimitz and an escort package. The intention is to raise the bar compared to the Midway, while improving the model's efficiency. We are close to finishing the hangar model (which be walkable all the way back to the fan tail) and giving it a base color map. We will soon have a "previewable" version of the entire ship taking advantage of P3Dv4's features and will then move to work on the FSX version.

The Nimitz is not as important, though, as what we have in the bag for carrier ops fans.

Was it also this group - SWS - that had AI landing on moving carriers?
