I use to have it in FSX. It was a fun plane to fly.

I never tried to install it into PD3.

Outstanding details, NC. The cockpit interiour looks so real - really nice aircraft.

Lionheart’s aircraft have all been great and the prices he charges for his products makes them even better. I have several. He’s been very quiet of late except for his sales.

i wonder which of his products work in P3D V 4?

Can't speak for the other aircraft models, but the Epic Victory works perfectly in V4, and is one of the options listed during the installer. NC

Interesting. I did not recieved any information from simmarket.com about Lionheart´s products with p3dv4 compatibility (That usualy means new installers).
Thanks for the HU. Will download all Lionheart installers again.

Edit --> The installers below ARE NOT updated to p3dv4 at least in simmarket.com:
- Aerospool Dynamic
- Fairchild 24 Series
- Piper Pacer
- Tailwind
--------- Not in the update list but not v4 compatible in simmarket.com either
- LJ24B
- Skylark

I sent a personal email to Bill asking him about the updates, and he said all but the Avelina and the Learjet have been updated. They are waiting on the 64bit DLL files they use, which were made for him by someone else. He has sent the updated files to all the sites, but they seem to be rather slow getting them posted. He did get me the links for the ones I bought directly from him right away, but you have to email him directly.I have gotten a few upgrade notices from the other sites, but not all of them, yet. Those I have not received notices on still download the older models. I have just about everything Bill has released since FS2000.

Haven't flown this one in a long time. Think there were some issues with the FDE and airspeed + altitude performance trade-offs I tried to tweak but ended up compromising other specs - such is the case with aerodynamics. Will give it another go in v4.1. It's a very nice package. Bill does great work.

Bill himself described it best:
Performance: The jet thrust setting is an odd one that I had to decide on and go with. If I lower it, she doesnt max out at high altitude. If I make her cruise properly, she seems overpowered at low altitude. She might seem overpowered at low altitude, but she then becomes underpowered at high altitude. I had to make a call and made a balance between the two.

Thanks for posting this . Looks like I have some catching up to do too with reinstallation . I've always liked Bill's aircraft . The Kodiak might have been the first one I purchased a long time ago .

I did purchase the Fairchild Series-24 from Simmarket . How will we be able to tell when they do update to P3D4 ? Will they list it in the description or will they eventually send out an email ?

I've usually found SimMarket pretty good for e-mailing about updates but there's been nothing for the Fairchild yet. I queried it with Lionheart and SimMarket - Bill Ortis confirmed the Fairchild is updated and that he sent the new installers to all his resellers. Just Flight certainly has it, but SimMarket are still offering the old v3 model (I downloaded it again just now to check) which they told me is the latest one they have. Lionheart is one of my very favourite developers, SimMarket one of my less-visited stores, but I can't say who's right here. In the end I bought the F24 again with a bunch of Just Flight points.

OK, did the following:

Found the gauges installed in my FSX install and copied them into P3Dv4 gauges
Found effects etc and did same
Swapped my misguided attempt to mod the FDE and put Bill's default air.cfg back in.
Did some fun swapping around of panel and interior options into my favorite paints - the twelve default paints are all great.
Spent time again studying the manual to figure out how to work the AP - particularly Alt and VNAV operations - a few tricks here you need to find out.
What great fun with this model! There is so much included, it's great.
AND - have everything working perfectly with my old FSX install ported into P3Dv4.1 with no issues. Who needs the upgrade?

Out of curiosity I decided to look up the Epic Aircraft Corporation and what an unhappy (if not criminal!) history!!!!!
Nifty little aeroplane built to Bill's usual high standard.
