Don't know if this has been discussed or not. Search came up empty.

Has Abacus Publishing gone out of business?? Their website just has a blank page, and none of the download links work. Since some of the design tools used here are from them, as well as a goodly number of descent, if not great, aircraft, both FS9 and FSX, are from there, which I have many, was just trying to lookup for updates on some, particularly to P3Dv4. Has anyone heard of them closing?

If they have, better get all backed up to disk somewhere.

TIA, Don

It would appear that they are gone Don. I checked their FaceBook Page also and the last entry of any kind was a post by them tauting their new website design, that was 3 years ago.

Have never been an Abacus customer, though managed to get in (sort of) through a back way. Maybe this will help:

Hmmm, wonder if they got hacked or are just experiencing some other server problems. Still, no activity on their FB page and complaints from folks saying they never get any support, makes you wonder.

Thanks Boxcar, but nothing intelligible there. None of the links bring up anything useful, either.

Ed, it sure appears they're gone. Strange, because I've seen ads for some of their stuff from Flightsim Pilot shop and others. In fact, FS Pilotshop has all their product line. Not sure I would want to buy anything from a defunct publisher. Oh well.

The Abacus website appears to be working fine. At least for me anyway. All linsk go where they are supposed to go. No problems.:engel016:

They must have been able to resolve the issues, as the site is loading fine for me now as well

Ah, I remember the six months I spent doing their panel and gauges:

Back in 05' Arnie and his team kept me in groceries when I was out of work for 6 months making aircraft for them.
