So what was the deal with the compositetexturebudgets.xml and all that, DOH!?

Welcome back! There's been a lot of improvements over the years, make sure you grab the new DX9 shaders, makes the sim look at least a decade newer!

Self-shadowing, working reflector gunsights, high-altitude contrails, bump maps, light maps, reflective water, cockpit damage, and a lot more are all possible now.

Well, look who is still alive and kicking!! How you doing Mat!?! Not many of the original guys from MAW around, except for John, see Luca once in a while, but no one else. That seems like such a long time ago now. But it was fun though. Haven't flown CFS3 in a while myself, but I keep checking in, to see what they are up to.

MajorMagee, great stuff this mod. I dropped it into the stock CFS3 install and it's really what we where missing back then.
Is it compatible with MAW and ETO?

Yep, works on any install. Not all the features are activated automatically though, you have to add the gunsights and lighting effects manually.
