Okay guys and gals,

When in MB, where does MB dropdown pull the names of the SHA_Indianapolis, etc., from?

I have all my aircraft and all my ships entered properly in descript.dat, mdlnames.txt, callsign.dat..
All folders have the same name as the mdl, aircraft, ship, and other files in the aircraft and ship folder.

I have checked these numerous times.

Why do my VN ships, NOT ONE, not show up in MB??????

Is this the old - no 'dummy' file in the sound & panel folders- glitch?

Nope,
Got 'em in there.

Amazing discovery: I changed the name on the VN_HMS_Illustrious45 to HMS_Illustrious. I changed everything, folder name, and ALL the files and names inside the folder.

IT NOW SHOWS UP IN MB. I did not add it to descript.dat/callsign.dat/mdlnames.txt.

SO, I tried that with the VN_HMS_King_George_V to HMS_King_George_V. It shows up.

So, I did it with all the other VN_HMS_(carrier)45's. They all now show up.

Scratching my head bald.

The only anomaly now is that I CTD when I escape out of a mission.

I can live with that.

Think there is some bug with the VN models when you try to use them on Win 8/10..
