-Andretti Racing will stay with Honda.
-Alexander Rossi is not signed for 2018.
-Fernando Alonso is not signed for 2018.

So......
For 2018, Rossi drives for McLaren while Honda sorts out it's engine, Alonso drives for Andretti in 2018.

What do you folks think?

There is no way Alonso will drive again with a Honda engine after this season. If he was to switch to Indycar he would probably ask Penske for a wheel, since 2017 might be the last season for Castroneves.

Not so sure about that.
Alonso appears to have a great relationship with the new McLaren boss....and it wouldn't surprise me if this situation was on the table...

Addendum: If you're not a team where the engine manufacturer is part of the primary package, then you're not going to win a championship. For Alonso, that means only 2 options - McLaren and Renault.

Would love to see Alonso in Indy car. That would make it interesting.

He's not going to Renault and that's a done deal.
For next season Fernando stays where he is.
:encouragement:
