Well folks, after a frantic search for a CD of CFS 3 in my area (15 shops in a 1-hr. radius) with no luck, I ordered the CD via Amazon this AM. I never got CFS 3, I was content with all the wonderful WW I aircraft from Stuart Green and others and the European scenery for CFS 2. Also with the Jones Soft engine I could make any one of them AI and have a dogfight or make up a mission.
But when OFF was released (I have been lurking and looking at all the truly wonderful screenies!), the temptation was too much. Last night I downloaded OFF and the patch plus both of the patchs for CFS 3 from the MS site. To preserve this, the OFF staff should all be given drinks on the house at any pub they venture into, both for a simply marvelous piece of work and for the fact that the entire zip package fits on a CD and can be written to one, This helps those without the facility to write to DVD disk (though I do have that facility), in makiing a backup. For the record, I found the mirror site a much faster download, oldbrowndog was probably being overwhelmed at the time! :isadizzy:
