Patch to Version 0.33b is up.
Patch 0.34 is in the works and should be released before New Years Eve all being well.
Current fix list:
1) Targets with invalid characters (Umlauts) etc corrected.
2) Walker stripped of his WW2 uniform and handed sweaty used WW1 garb
3) Cloud Glitch (straight flickering line) should be much reduced
4) Hanriot VC Texture corrected
5) Bridge Textures should no longer break through low cloud
6) Gun Range shortened
7) many other wee tweaks
Finally I have not managed to reproduce the "freeze on exit bug" - does not mean I am ignoring it - means I cannot fix it until I reproduce it. Recent postings have indicated a tie up with CFS3 - this too is weird as OFF is completely independant of CFS3 - many folk have even removed their CFS3 installs.

FRATICIDE MISSION GOALS/ORDERS:
We are aware of mission goals that direct the player to attack friendly units - we are working on this and hope to have a patch for this within the next day or so - hopefully before Christmas!
In the meantime this is one time when you will be allowed to disobey orders.

I believe I have fixed the Fraticide bug the patch is up - if not please post in this thread if you see this problem post 0.33a patch. (Note version number will not be updated from 0.33 to 0.33a in your Workshops until I build 0.34)
Well that's it from us for this year - my thoughts will now turn to my family and I will also be setting up my new comp for some OFFing.
Coming next year:
1) Historically accurate Moving Fronts airfields will change hands accordingly
2) Persistent Damage modelling
3) More immersive Campaign engine with the option of "historical mode"
4) More aircraft and better optimisation of FM and DM
5) Increased "living world" activity - you will need more CPU GPU and it will be optional.
6) Many more skins and squadrons.
7) Bomber squadrons
8) Proper Zeppelin Campaign
Have Fun

We are grateful for your help !! You are offering more (and better) help than many expensive software companies !
I had no intention of upsetting you ! Sorry if I did. I wasn't even complaining ! Honestly!
It's just because I know that you cannot reproduce the problem that I'm trying every possible solution, and that's why I asked the question.
I do understand that you have other matters to deal with and I don't want you to take too much time for this problem.

There is a wee multiplayer patch up that enables the "Refly Button" again - SP guys can use this too if they want the "Refly Button" back.

There is a wee multiplayer patch up that enables the "Refly Button" again - SP guys can use this too if they want the "Refly Button" back.
It's always nice to be able to learn from one's mistakes; the refly button will be welcome!:ernae:
Winder
December 31st, 2005, 06:35
Well not really - I only recommend this patch for MP.
For SP you are best to leave the refly button out as that is the way the system is meant to work.
But in Phase 2 I will endeavour to lock out the Refly in SP and still leave it enabled for MP all being well.
Bottom line in SP: DO NOT USE the refly button - I know some chaps with the Exit hang issue seem to need it but everyone else should leave it be as it is not required.

Hi Winding Man, I'm still having the exit hang issue, so, I might try it out.
Winder

Patch 0.35 will be up soon - next 24hours all being well - thereafter the only remaining issue will be updates for the DII, RE8 and Hannover and these will be done in the Supa Patch in the next few weeks.
The Supa Patch will replace all patches as one download - moreover I will be uploading a new main install file so that any newcomers can simply download one 600Mb file and intall.
I will continue to investigate the CFS3.exe hang on Exit and if I find the cause I will fix.
So with that the team will move onto Phase 2 development

One thing, hope not to sound too whiney, Splash screen looks good, but I must say I loved the older ones (the paintings) better :redf: .
Is there a way to get them again (out of the first installer for example)?
